Hoosier-
Well, I'm sorry to hear that but please don't give up! I too was initially placed on the waitlist but eventually was taken off. When I was, I asked why they chose me from the pool...they said flat out because I had done the best job of keeping in touch following my waitlisting. Now, don't be annoying of course, but definitely send them a couple of other things such as updates to your resume, an additional letter of recommendation, or a "letter of intent". This is essentially a brief letter stating to them why you want to go to CCOM specifically and why they should accept you. If the school truly is your top choice, it doesn't hurt to tell them that. Most years there is a decent amount of movement from the waitlist, so you still may have a very good shot. Any other questions feel free to PM me. Good luck!
