HELP!! with chosing program

so i just finished my first yr, i know i want to do opto. for sure.
i am planning to switch to specialization in cell bio from a general bsc deg.
because opto is physics based will this put me a disadvantage compared to the rest of the students.

NOTE:i have taken and am currently taking ALL the required pre reqs.(including my 1 yr of physics )

This question has been asked a million times. As long as you meet the pre-reqs for optometry school, it doesn't matter what program you choose!! Do something you enjoy. You won't be at a disadvantage. You will learn everything you need to in optometry school. You will learn all of the physics you need at optometry school. You can major in art if you would like and still do fine in optometry school. Basically, don't fret about it.
