help with early decision!

I just applied to Northwestern Early and I'm confused about how the process goes. If I don't get in, can I still apply regular decision to other schools this cycle? Please help!!!!

From the PTCAS website:
PTCAS programs will announce early decisions as soon as possible, and no later than September 25, 2019. If you participate, you may be offered early admission, denied early admission, or returned to regular applicant status. If you are offered admission as an Early Decision applicant, you are obligated to accept the offer and cannot apply to any other PTCAS program during the current cycle. If you are denied admission as an Early Decision applicant, you can apply to other PTCAS degree programs for an additional fee.
