Help with English Requirement

I took English my senior year in HS from a community college for 3 credits. When I went to college I took an intro to literature class as well for 3 credits. The problem lies in that the community college class was on quarters while the literature class at my university was on semesters. Will this be a problem for schools who require English? There are other classes I took that were very writing intensive which some schools might accept. Any help is great.
