help with keyhole!

I m studying for DAT and the only section that gets in my way in PAT is the keyhole!
What is a great way to think about the problem? i mean are there any strategies...i m trying to follow kaplan's but it is not making much sense?

This section improves a lot with practice. A good strategy though, is to find the difference in the answer choices and then based on that difference eliminate possible choices.

Pattern folding is so much harder for me than the keyholes, or for any other PAT section actually...
