I am looking at question 95 question is from the practice DAT pdf file. I think it's on the ADA website. The correct to 95 answer is C.

Can someone explain why the answer is C and not A?

My assumption (based on the post title of yours) is that the reason this is confusing you is because it isn't a conjugate base question, but a conjugate acid question (reread it). In the case of the conjugate acid we are adding an H, and it is preferable to have the positive charge on the N because it is the less electronegative atom.

If it was a conjugate base question, A would have been the answer.
