HELP with ordering DAT software

I was thinking about ordering different DAT CDs for practice, and when i added up the cost, i was going to end up spending like $400 for the CDs, and i just wanted to know if it was worth it (i dont want to spend all that money and then find out that the CDs arent helpful at all)
so these were the ones that were on my list, and after viewing different threads on SDN, i came to the conclusion that there are lots of mixed reviews on them, but most of the posts were from like 4-5 years ago, so the software might have changed.
Anyway, here they are:
1.Topscore Pro (whats the difference between Topscore and Topscore Pro?)
2.Crack DAT PAT (are the rest of the Crack DAT any good? because the PAT only is $200 and then the combo pack is $300)
3.DAT Achiever
and then buy DAT Destroyer, and i already have KBB and Barrons and the course material for the Kaplan course.
SO basically i want to know which of the ones listed above would help me the most, if at all.

yes pretty much we have all of them...🙂. Get CDP only. and maybe their math.

Definitely get Crack DAT PAT. I think everyone says Crack DAT Science is too hard and too detailed, so they don't recommend getting it. Crack DAT Math is good to get better in the math section, but also very hard and most people don't care too much about QR.

A lot of people buy Achiever/Topscore but I don't know anything about them. DAT Destroyer is good, you can buy it used for $70-100 on here.

You don't necessarily have to buy everything on that list. Some of them are substitutable. In my opinion, CDP and TopScore are all you really need. DAT Achiever is kinda exaggerated in terms of level of difficulty. TopScore is a little more appropriate for the sciences, but not very accurate with QR, PAT, and RC (I've been told). But for QR and RC...you've gotta find something that works for you. I'd say it's important to have practice in the sciences and PAT.

for which CDP package to buy...I'd start out with the 5 or 10 test version. And if you feel you need more practice, you're allowed to upgrade by paying the difference. So I guess, start out with the $99 version and upgrade if it's absolutely necessary. That way you don't lose money on what you don't use...Again, that's if budget and money is a concern. For most of us, we don't put a price for extra help to master the DAT...$400 is a small price to pay when you see the entire picture IMO

ohhh...see i wasnt aware of the fact that there are different types of CDPs, i thought they were all $200.

in my opinion:

1) crack dat pat 👍

2) DAT destroyer ( for gen chem and for organic) ( i promise if you do all chemistry problems and understand them you will be in a greatttt shape for your gen chem and o chem no joke. but for the review notes kaplan is the best to review then go to the destroyer and solve problems. 👍

3) biology: it is gonna sound weird but trust me on this. get the MCAT Princeton review (i got it from my city public library). just go over the biology sectoin ( i didnt check out gen chem or o chem) 👍

4) crack dat math 👍. it is gonna give you the feeling for the real test. it is sooo helpful for real.

these are the best out there in my opinion, for real if you really study from them you will do just great 😀 good luck and if you need any help just send me a message i will be more than happy to help 😀

oh i forgot. also buy DAT achiever, its challenging its harder than the real thing but it is helpful. i used topscore ( the gen chem and organic was good but the biology was stupid it has sooo many questions on taxonomy it is useless. so i recommend the achiever after you r done with studying good luck

hey thanks a lot.
can i ask you how long you studied for and what your grades were?
and the princeton review for the mcats actually sounds like a good idea..ive been looking for a really good comprehensive review for bio and ill be sure to check that out.
