Hello all!

I'm new to SDN, so I haven't contributed to forums yet, but I was hoping I could receive some tips on writing PS's. I'm having trouble figuring out how to add what I've learned from my experience.

I have interned at three small animal clinics hanging out with techs and occasionally shadowing vets.

I have also shadowed a large animal vet and learned a lot about cattle, pigs, goats, and horses. Should the information be specific?

What are you passionnate about? What was really moving to you? What would you like to accomplish in life? why do you love animals? Why do you want to help them?

The thing is so much of the medicine has interested me that I cannot talk about a specific thing. Something that does have me interested in is the different diagnostic techniques between doctors? Is that something valid enough to prove my interest in Veterinary medicine and my interest in a rigorous scientific curriculum?

This is a good book to start with, but the only example essay they have in it for vet school is kind of crap IMO. It's all "blurf blurf I lurv animals here's some weepy drivel about my family's farm" or something IIRC - that person must have had good grades 😀. However, the advice and exercises throughout the rest of it are good for making you really think about your experiences, motivation and drive.
