can someone explain to me how to solve this problem?

A patient would like to purchase Mucinex-D which contains guaifenesin 600mg and pseudoephedrine hcl 60mg in each tablet. The clerk checks the logbook and finds that the patient already picked up a box of Sudafed 24-Hr last week, which contains 10 tablets of pseudoephedrine hcl 240mg tablets. How many tables of Mucinex-D can the patient purchase today?

Correct answer is 60 tablets

Do you know how much pseudo-ephedrine one can purchase in a day? in a month?

Based on the information, you have no reason to believe the patient has purchased close to the 9 gm limit in the last 30 days, as you only have 2.4 gm logged. Thus, the patient is able to purchase up to the 3.6 gm (3600 mg) daily limit. To determine maximum amount that can be dispensed you need to divide 3600 mg by the dose of pseudoepehdrine per tablet (60 mg), which gives 60 tablets.

Thank you I just got confused looking at this equivalency table, since it says "These limits are calculated on the base, not salt, content of the ephedrine or pseudoephedrine in each tablet." So i thought I wouldn't be able to divide 3600mg by 60mg to get 60 tablets.
In which situation would I use this table then? (link below)

When wise man looks down well, he is able to draw water without shadow being cast.
