Hey guys and gals. Hope everyone is having a great summer!

I am going in tomorrow to register for classes. I have 30 credit hours so far but havent touched science classes.

I understand I have to take
Bio 8-12
Chem 8
Org 8
Phys 8
Engl 6

I am done with Engl but have to do the rest. That puts me at 60 hours I still need but only ~36hrs of classes I NEED. This may be such a dumb question but what classes should I take to fill those extra in? I do plan on taking intro science classes just to help my GPA and so I get a better understanding of everything as I have not taken a science class in a couple of years, so that should help cover some extra. What do you guys suggest I take? I was going to take some business classes but do not want to overload my schedule. Are there easier, less stressful classes to use as fillers?

I am so excited to rock these science classes, I am going to work extremely hard. Nothing is getting in my way of Pod school!!!

Thanks everybody!

Why not consult your degree program's staff to determine what you will need to qualify for some sort of science degree or non-science degree where all your electives are spent in science classes?

Obviously if you are in a science program it would be helpful both as a learning experience and a tool to show your aptitude to take classes in all the core science classes you will see again in podiatry school: anatomy, physiology, genetics, microbiology, histology, pharmacology, etc.

Unfortunately, if you have not taken any sort of science courses, your registration for the fall semester will be pretty inflexible. Much of the science courses have prerequisites of Bio or Genchem.

you can take inorganic, physics, and bio at the same time. That is what I did

Whats up BTR, you seem to be in the same position as me. Im taking summer classes though so I will have about 39 credits after this summer though other than that same Boat..

And with that I would ask what is your major, I want to assume its non science or public health of sorts. But if you have no obligations in the way of your major then go for Bio and Intro Chem, bio is just Rote Memorization so you dont need an intro for that. I wouldnt advise taking more than 2 science's your first semester taking sciences. The most I would safely advise if you want a high GPA is what i mentioned plus maybe a science that is know to be easy at your school (ecology to anatomy or whatever) but not another pre req.

Just make sure your pre reqs are in sequence for the next year and your major is set to be completed on time the rest is up to you I suggest PSYCH though for elective its intersting and pretty fun to.
