Hi guys!
So I was waiting to get my MCAT score back to see whether it was worth applying to the states or not, and unfortunately I had some mishaps with the Canadian application and was not able to submit it. Therefore I REALLY NEED SOME HELP as the states will be the only place I am applying!
Here my stats:
cGPA: 3.76
sGPA: 3.6ish (haven't fully calculated)
MCAT 1 (2010): 21Q (8PS, 5VR, 8BS)
MCAT 2 (Sep 2011): 31Q (12PS, 8VR , 11BS)
EC's:
-volunteered abroad in clinical medicine for 2 months, and lead a medicalyl focused volunteer trip for 6 weeks
-president of my faculty student council for 3 years
-campus wide student association board of director
-student rep on lots of administrative committees
-lots of exec positions in other student groups
-1 research position still on-going but no publications
-employed at a pharmacy for 6 years
-exec on community outreach youth group for 2 years
LORS:
-trip supervisor
-research supervisor/prof
-youth group supervisor
I am planning to hopefully finish and submit my PRIMARY application by this weekend. Also, I know the 8 in VR is crap, but I am hoping to get in anywhere!
Any help in suggesting schools would be amazing and if they are Canadian-friendly that would be even better! Thanks everyone!
