My current list is below, please let me know what I can/should take off or add...will probably apply to 25-30 MD and 5 DO.
Also....Are there any out of state schools that I have a shot at? For example, I know my stats are around Penn State, LSU, Virginia Tech, UCONN etc...but are they worth applying to, being a NYS resident?

Thank you in advance!

Mercer accepts zero non residents. Ohio State, Maryland, Rutgers accept few non residents with your stats and no connection to the state.
You could add these school:
Vermont
Oakland Beaumont
TCU-UNT
Penn State

What does your shadowing involve? You really only need 50 hours of shadowing but you do need 150+ hours of clinical experience not including shadowing. Shadowing is passive , clinical experience is active.

I worked a summer as a scribe... about 200 hours. Completely forgot to include that above!

Agree with Faha.

Delete the Mercer, CA schools, all OOS public schools, Geisinger, and Einstein.

Delete Loma Linda if you're not a SDA or extremely devout Christian.

ADD EVMS, U VM AND VCU
ADD UNECOM, MUCOM, VCOM, LECOM

I had good luck with public schools that take a lot of oos students, but I’m definitely not the most typical applicant so take my success with a grain of salt.

Any public schools you think I should definitely add to my list?? (Sorry for all of the follow ups)

Sorry, not my area of expertise. Any advice I give would be meaningless.
