I sent my primary in about 2 weeks ago and would like feedback on my school list/schools to add/any advice you have to offer.
• Graduated in 2016 with a B.S. in Neuroscience
• WA resident
• Asian/First Gen College
• 3.67 GPA Magna Cum Laude with departmental honors in Neuroscience.
• 3.5 Science GPA
• 514 MCAT (128/127/129/130) Taken 6/17
• 500~ hours research doing a senior thesis. Presented at schools research symposium.
• Volunteering (clinical) – 100 hours completed during undergrad split between ER and nursing home. Recently committed another 100 hours to a local hospital.
• Physician shadowing – Shadowed ER Doctors 100~ Hours. Attempting to shadow other areas such as neurosurgery.
• Currently working as a medical scribe and have about 700~ hours of logged work time. Will continue working until hopefully matriculation.
Here is my school list please offer advice on any new schools you think I should submit to with my stats or any comments in general. This is my first time applying so any help is appreciated, thank you!
