Hi there,

I would like some help with my school selection for this coming cycle. Below are my basic stats and the schools I plan to apply to.

Currently getting my M.S. in Physiology (GPA: 3.7)
undergrad cGPA: 3.5
undergrad BCPM GPA: 3.6

MCAT score: 31R (11 BS, 11 PS, 9 VR)

A lot of research, volunteer, work experience. Re-applicant and CA resident.

My current school list:
1) UC Davis
2) UC Irvine
3) USC Keck
4) George Washington
5) Georgetown
6) Albany
7) Rosalind Franklin
8) Loyola
9) Boston
10) Rush
11) Rochester
12) NYMC
13) Wake Forest
14) Drexel
15) Jefferson
16) Temple
17) Virginia Commonwealth
18) Oregon State
19) Tulane
20) Uni. of Illinois at Chicago

Any other suggestions as to where I should apply to? Thank you in advance for your help!

May I ask which schools are MSU, EVMS, and MUSC? Do they accept a lot of out-of-staters? Also, would it be silly to apply to schools such as UCSF, UCLA, and UCSD with my stats or is there a possibility of getting noticed?

MSU = Michigan State University
EVMS = Eastern Virginia Medical School
MUSC = Medical University of South Carolina

They accept more out-of-state applicants than other public medical schools. I don't see the harm in adding UCSF, UCLA, or UCSD as you are a Cali resident (hey, you gotta have dreams).
