Hey all, I am a 3.2 GPA 27 MCAT from the University of Missouri.
I am planning on applying to the Tulane graduate studies program for both the Molecular and Cell Bio Program and the Pharmacology program.
The dean said I have a "fair" chance of getting in for this spring. I however need some help with the statement of purpose:

"Describe your purpose in undertaking graduate work. Include an explanation of your research and study interests, indicating how they related to your undergraduate program and to your professional goals. If you expect to do any of your graduate work in part-time study, give details of your plan of study."

As I mentioned, I am applying to both of those programs because the curriculum sounds awesome in both, both allow for advanced careers especially in pharmacology, but more importantly I want to apply to allopathic med schools after I am finished with the program.
Should I state that I plan to pursue medical school? The program descriptions include:

"A post-baccalaureate program leading to the degree of Master of Science in Pharmacology has been designed to attract those students who are interested in improving their credentials to compete for admission to a medical school, as well as those individuals who are interested in this degree to achieve their professional goals."

Anyone know how much I should write and if I should also include the fact that I want to attend med school after I complete the program?
It may sound like a dumb question, but I really want to attend this program, and I don't want to screw up the statement of purpose and be rejected. Thanks all for your help.

p.s. searching the threads shows that a person who goes by "southerncomfort" is attending the program now. If you are out there...please contact me...I have tried to contact you. Thanks again.
