Just a friendly reminder to all of you out there holding multiple acceptances or waitlists across AMCAS and AACOMAS. If you’ve already decided on a school you're leaning toward or know for sure you wouldn’t attend one of the schools, please consider withdrawing your application/seat.

For example, if you have an MD acceptance but also have an acceptance/WL for DO school that you know you will likely not attend, instead of the other option, withdrawing from those, even if you are WLed, will help speed up the process for everyone

It can make a big difference for others still navigating the process. The earlier we do it, the more it helps everyone. I realized I had forgotten to withdraw from a WL of a school I would not attend, and just wanted to share the friendly reminder.

Best of luck to all, and remember we’re all in this together!

Signed someone who is on too many waitlists
