Depends on the school. Some school accepts them, so only accept credit from an accredited 4 year college/university.

Like the previously poster said, some don't accept cc credit (for instance, BU and Tufts). I recommend taking the least amount of prerequisites at a community college, transferring, and completing prerequisites at a university.
