Help!!!

I’m stuck on what to do for one of my secondary apps...I applied to one of the Arizona schools and now I regret it cause the secondary is asking for a letter from a community service leader..I don’t really have a strong one so idk if I should just not send in the secondary cause it might be a waste of my time and money..everyone applying said if you don’t have a crap load of hours don’t apply. I have some but not an excess. Guess it was my fault for not thinking it through before applying. 🙁

Also due to cost I wasn’t able to apply to that many schools. I applied to all Texas as I am a Texas resident, Temple, LECOM, UMKC and ASDOH. Should I add more?

That letter is optional, you just need science professor and dentist.

Do what you can to get a letter and if you don’t up the list of schools to 15-20 with that DAT, you risk becoming a reapplication. It’s a numbers game out here.

If they couldn’t afford it, couldn’t they submit for financial assistance? Difference between can’t afford it and not trying to afford it. How many times someone tells you they can’t afford something, but they spend 2-3 days a week eating out or that they don’t have “time” but waste hours a day on social media or hanging out with friends?

Ask any dentist and they’ll tell you majority of patients will say they can’t afford treatment as they walk out into the parking lot into their brand new Benz. Not saying OP truly can’t, but options and resources should be available to him/her if this is the case.

Depending on their age they may not qualify for assistance if they have to take into account the parents income.
