So, this is my story... What do you think?

A year ago, I was enrolled in at Macinkowski University of Medicine... I had to take a leave of absence and return to the states. Now that I am home, I am not sure if I should go pack to Poland. If I do, I will have to retake the first year. Time (and money) is of the essence... as I am a non-traditional student (age 34)... I was toying with the idea of saving enough money for the Kaplan review course (and, obviously the MCAT)... But, am not sure if I should proceed in this direction. Any advice would be much appreciated.

Thanks,

I'd continue your old university. Would the timing work better if you did so? You'd have to take an extra year out to do the review course and retook the MCAT, in addition to the year applying to medical schools and interviewing.
If you returned, you'd have to retake the year but considering how cheap things are in Poland versus the expense of US medical schools, I'd say your better bet would be to go to Poland. Did you enjoy it, or are there other considerations?

Worm,
You lazy piece of ****. You need to suck it up and take the MCAT like everybody else, and then go to a D.O. school in the states.

Hey,
Thanks for the language there bug guy. It's people like you that give useless information of no use to anyone. I'd like to be the better man but someone needs to speak up. Just shut. If you have nothing nice to say, don't say it all. That doesn't mean you can't use constructive criticism.

Dude,
If you feel that you'll be wasting your time shooting for nothing, then don't do it. Just go back to Poland. You passed the 1st year so it will be just that much easier to do it again. Sounds crazy but you just be concentrated on just finishing up.

Thanks,
A
