B Blade28 Mar 10, 2005 #2 Not really...Step 1 is all basic science, much less clinical knowledge required (as is in Step 2). It can't hurt, though. Remember, for US students, taking Step 1 occurs BEFORE the Internal Medicine rotation, so it's not a requirement. Upvote 0 Downvote
