Hi all,
I am a third year medical student at an osteopathic college in US and I am a non-US citizen. I recently found out that a lot of the DO residencies will not sponsor me for and H-1B visa and I had to redirect my search to ACGME-accredited residencies. I am trying to find MD residency programs that I can apply to with my COMLEX scores since I didn't take the USMLE. Does anybody know of any programs that will will also sponsor for H-1B visa and not discriminate applicants with COMLEX scores against USMLE applicants? I know it could be a daunting task to find too many of these, but any input will be greatly appreciated. I don't even mind applying for a preliminary year in surgery, since that's what i want to do.
Thanks in advance
