Hey everyone,

Need some advice regarding the publication section of ERAS.
So basically, last year during my surgical elective I got involved in a retrospective study and basically did all of the file review and data collection for the study. After finishing the work, I submitted my work to the fellow I was working under. About six months later, the abstract was accepted by the American Association for Thoracic Surgeons and presented at their annual meeting. Unfortunately for me, my name was not included on the abstract. I called up the main surgeon involved with the study and asked him and about the situation and he promised that my name would be on the final paper when it is published. But I don't think the paper is going to be published by application time.
I know I pretty much got screwed 🙁
3 of my LOR's mention the study and the amount of work I had put into it, so can I still include this under the publications section on ERAS?
Or should I just suck it up and just move on with my life?
