I hope this thread doesn't get moved. Ok so I am a college senior, who plans on becoming a 5th year senior. My GPA and my science GPA are low, but I do have a strong upward trend. I have a 3.3 overall and maybe a 3.0-3.1 science. I was wondering what type of MCAT would I need to become competitive? I plan on taking the MCAT in may and I am going to apply in June. I am definently going to apply to Morehouse and Howard, as well as UMDNJ-RWJ and NJMS plus other schools (NJ resident). Any input would be appreciated.

Thanks

it totally depends on what your ECs are like, how you tell your story (personal statement, essays, interveiws, etc)... but aim as high as you can. I'd say with a 33 or higher you'll be fine, but aim for something crazy high, like a 38, and be happy with anything you get over a 32. Check out my profile, similar gpas.
