I have only heard from two schools. Anyone hear from any of these:

Chicago (Finch)
Dartmouth
George Washington
Georgetown
Harvard
Jefferson
Loyola Chicago
Mount Sinai
New York Med
Tufts
UConn
UMass
UVA
Wake Forest
Yale

Female
3.6 GPA - Biology
34 MCAT
1-year experience clinical research study
4-year Division 1 varsity soccer

I interviewed at BU in late October, but I hear they are behind. I am also waitlisted at Penn State.

Let me know if you have heard from the above and your profile. I feel like I am way behind, and I am getting nervous.

Got accepted by Dartmouth in October. Interviewed at Tufts in October and withdrew the same day, as their financial aid is nonexistant. Never heard a thing from UVA, and withdrew from there a month ago. Have yet to hear anything from Harvard.

Don't worry about comparing your MCAT and GPA to everyone else's. Your status as an athlete gives you some help. Did you take the MCAT in August or send your Apps in late?

Dartmouth interview next week. Invited early Dec.

GW interview nov 22nd.

Wake interview feb 3rd. Call them to find out. They do not necessarily notify you if you are in the top interview pool. Want you to show initiative I guess.

I'm an Aug mcater with a gpa higher than yours but a lower mcat.

I applied to a couple of other schools on your list but still haven't heard from them.

I'm guessing you had your files complete by the end of sept since you had a bu int late oct? Don't worry still time. Odd...I woulda thought those stats and varsity div 1 exp would get you more interviews by now. But hey...like I said...plenty of time...really random process if you ask me.

What are you talking about dude? 3.6/34 is impressive. She doesn't even need the "help" of being a D1 athlete. Med09--don't worrry about her numbers at all. I don't know why you havn't heard from anyone. This process is really weird. I have a friend with a 41 and stellar EC's who didn't get an interview at Northewestern. I have another friend who got into harvard with a 29 (and he's a white male).

Of course it's impressive! It's even more impressive that as a D-1 soccer player she somehow managed to find time to study! But my point was that, if you apply late in the year, you can expect to hear from schools later than most people, regardless of how well you did in school or on the MCAT. That's probably why she hasn't heard much yet.

Thanks for the encouragement guys.

I heard that BU is behind in decision making too, so it will be another couple of weeks most likely. Hopefully I hear from SOMEWHERE in the near future.

I'm sure you will. Unfortunately, it will probably require a lot of patience and anxiety. However, a lot of us share your anxieties and frustrations as well. I can't wait to start this process all over again when I apply for residency. Sweet!
