I need some help trying to figure out when I can take the OAT and still get in to Optometry school for fall 2013? I was told that the applications are turned in mid august for UHCO but I'm not able to take the OAT by then, I still need some time. If I take the OAT in September/ October can I still apply for Fall 2013? I'd appreciate some guidance! thanks.

Here's straight from the UHCO website:

"Application for admission from OptomCAS and the UHCO Supplemental Application will be accepted starting July 15 through February 15 prior to the fall semester in which the applicant expects to enter. All supporting credentials must be received in the UHCO Student Affairs office by March 15 prior to the semester in which the applicant expects to enter. It may take 4-6 weeks after submission of the OptomCAS application to be verified by OptomCAS therefore all application material should be submitted no later than February 15."

I think you should be fine for almost all the schools....even Waterloo, since their deadline is Oct.
