Hey guys

Im a 3rd year pre-pharm student and currently have a 2.8 gpa and working to increase my gpa but i still haven't taken any o-chem or physic classes yet. what are my chances of getting into a pharmacy school? plus i had retaken calc 1 and 2.

Each school looks at different factors, but GPA and PCAT always weigh in the most, along with your interview. Know your strengths and weaknesses. Find out the cause of your weakness and do your best to fix it.

If you have not taken OCHEM, you might not do well on PCAT.

As I mentioned, so many factors to weigh in on you as an applicant. You're not just a person with numerical figures.
 
2.8 GPA is one thing, but showing improvement and keeping it stable is also very important. Keep your head up and work hard next semester. Make sure you do well in O. Chem, that's very important.

I agree, 2.8 GPA before the hard classes is a precarious position. If you don't do well in organic chemistry or physics, it could be disastrous for your chances.
