does the addition of alcohol to a ketone in basic solution allow the formation of a ketal with 2 equivolents of alcohol? or does it stop at hemiketal? thanks

never mind found the answer from textbook. acetals and ketals require 2 equivolents of alcohol and an ACIDIC solution.
