Interviewed there a couple of years back (CA2 now). I know a few people that trained there and worked with one personally as an intern. Broad generalizations but: they work hard, probably harder than some other residencies but the training is great. I recall some pay incentives for residents staying late, etc. The guy that I know that trained there was very strong. Right out of residency he was doing complex peds and hearts for what it's worth. Downside is it's in Detroit. At least the suburbs can be nice and the roads are well organized. Definately a stable hospital system, they're not in any financial trouble. If you can deal with the area I'd interview there for sure. Certainly not lacking in case load or anything like that.
