The ADA got defeated by one of the State's Health Groups called the Indian Health consortium ,regarding non dentists practicing Dentistry in the State of Alaska. The letter just today from the US Congress informed me to prepare testimonies to support the abolishment of these goddamn restrictions.

Quote" Ms. Swa, we are informing you that the US Congress blahh blahh blahh,is in need of people that has some concerns regarding the crisis facing the nation. The Public Health Commission will convene .......to assess the needs of dental health professionals in critical areas. In addition ,the US of Indian Affairs is looking for dental or non dental who are interested to attend a training in Washington DC to supplement the critical need of the nation.
Thank you & we look forward to hear from you.

Now, tomorrow I am going to talk to the Director of Indian Affairs i n DC to let them know that you people exist & you don't need a training . The training due date was last week but I am sure they will negotiate.

Yes it is all paid.

So now you people leave me alone so I can prepare my sh..t to go to DC. gudnight ..........

Ang galing mo! Good luck Lakambini. I am sure you are doing the country a good service. If it were true.

From now on I have to address you as children as I get a warning from the moderator about my blatant honesty. Somebody wants to get rid of me on this board,I wonder if ADA has infiltrated us.Nevertheless ,this job is done ,it doesn't hurt to get rid of a nut here any longer.

If you guys can wrote an email for Sen. Mc Cain thanking him for supporting the Alaskan Indian Health consortium,it will make my job easier. John Mc Cain is one of the sponsors of this bill. Please know that this has nothing to do politically, its been in the US Congress since 2001. NH Archives 1999 Definition of Practice of Dentistry. Many people wants to know what State will have to abide this law. Kids, this is in US Congress in DC,this will affect all United States & the Virgin Islands. You will see the updates here soon the Congress convene it will tell us when it is going to be in effect.

I have donwloaded some posts here & the other citations I mentioned before.

Is anyone here from the DC area? A few steps away.........we are almost done.

Feell free to call me the NUT.

hi,
i still do not understand exactly what this bill has to offer for a foreign trained dentist???? what kind of training is provided in DC area and what will that qualify us for? and what kind of license do we get?and if ADA is against this, then does it work that we get a license without their accreditation?.............waiting for a reply

Have a tough time explaining this process to all of you. I am very exhausted today from preparing all the documents all night. Eight years of process , you will be confused even more. This is pattern from the International Medical graduates, which we still have to sit for 2years of residency ,without this exams ,NDB, etc..but since the Congress approved it,States has to abide by this law.

The Training that they are offering in DC from Alaska Indian tribe will allow us to practice as dental therapists. Google the Alaskan Indian tribe Health consortium. Senator Mc Cain agree that therapists can do just fine job.

I am so tired my brain is fried ,don't ask many questions ,I have no sleep last night ,6 boxes of cases, statistics everything.

Give me your trust, this is for all of us.

I am sorry but i am not able to understand what all you are talking....It will be nice if u explain it a bit

thanks dude!!we all appreciate your efforts and stand by you, take it easy and chill for now, and please explain it all in detail on this forum as soon as u find time for it............good luck, thanks and gudnite

The context of your comments indicate you are a foreign trained dentist wishing to immigrate to the US. Correct me if I am wrong.

Let me just say that Senator McCain is not a Dentist and is therefore not qualified to judge the professional qualifications of dental health professionals (or so called 'dental therapists'). If you want to go the trouble of immigrating, do what my wife and so many others have done, and complete an Advanced Standing DDS program. This will give you the credentials you need and address the significant differences you will encounter when practicing dentistry in the US as compared to your country of training. I am certain these differences exist, because I know foreign trained dentists from multiple continents. I beseech you not to settle for 'dental therapist' status.

COLOR="DarkRed"]I am not asking anyone of you to believe me, you can do your own research & whatever way you want to go feel free to do so ,you all know that. This job I commit myself is not exactly for me to benefit from it, as I mentioned in my previous posts ,I have no desire to practice dentistry as I am not fit , I am sick. I am a US citizen & all the money I need to get to that goal is not an issue if I want to but I do not want to subject myself to these stupid, monopolitic restrictions of the ADA.

John Mc Cain (R- Arizona) is not a dentist. Thanks for that info,he is a senator who sponsor this bill .The senators & legislators job is to formulate laws & pass or reject them depending on how many legislators ,senators will agree . And the President veto power to agree or not. They make the laws on the Federal level that every State has to abide. Remember HIPAA ( Health Insurance Portability & Accessibilty Act of 1996). This is a federal law enacted in 2003 that all entities covered public or private are required to abide by its requirement. This is the same act . I mentioned Alaska's lawsuit as the US Congress supported that case & are convinced at this point to see d tip of the iceberg that the nation is facing a health crisis & the ADA is trying to cover it up ferociously, consequently in the last deliberations they have convinced more than ever that the supply & demand of dentists do not balanced. The Statistics was there since 1998.The turning point that we are waiting for is,the Congress cannot ignore it anyomre. There are pressures at all levels to alleviate this crisis. Again these cause was there since 1998 in NH but in 2001 finally find its way to the US House of Representatives & the Senate. Ten years , pls do not push me to make you understand these process in one or two paragraph becoz I cannot, you will be more confused. I wish I can ,, maybe you can pitch in but the critical times are passed just time is needed.

The bottom line is to achieved the same opportunity that the IMG in this country is practicing.

I am short of time & technology to relay to you all what is documented eversince this process begun ,at this point 11 boxes plus what is in my PC. Pls be reminded that this challenge is mine not yours so I am not obliged nor I need for anyone to agree with me.If you have some ideas you want to share with me post it or PM it to me.
