Good morning my general surgeon friends! Jumping over to your board for a quick question.
So, I'm a anesthesiologist in private practice a few years now. Anyways, next week I'm at the ortho surgery all week, so I won't be seeing any of my general surgery colleauges for a while, and I am super impatient. Plus, I want to get an opinion from those of you that are going through residency to see what is the teaching is these days.
Went to ER yesterday. Turns out to be biliary colic. Had a massive fatty meal an hour before. U/S shows a bunch of good sized gallstones in there. (marble size maybe? it was a prelim read) First attack. Are you guys recommending lap chole for a first attack?
Thanks!
