Hi everyone,
Fourth year student here applied gen surg. I have a certain area that I am wanting to practice (around Brevard county Fl). I was wondering how much bread and butter GS make and if it is even worth thinking about a trauma fellowship if I plan to work at a community hospital.
I have read that bread and butter Gen surg is in the $400k range with opportunity to make more but I am not sure I see how the amount that can be made could be so much more. I know I an green and naive. I am just curious if some gen surgeons would mind chatting. Sorry if this is not allowed.
