The least I've seen anyone have here is 40-50 hours. But then again, they had lots of research experience.

Try to get as much as possible.

Is there a reason you are asking this question? I thought you got into 8 schools? I believe it depends on the school, some state 20 hours up to 50 hours, at least from what I have seen.

with my experiene is that it doesnt work. gpa and DAT is the most important factor. if you are low in those and it is your first time apply, you cannot even stand for a shot. you will get secondary application but not interview. I am guessing they have some system in selecting interview applicants depend on your gpa and DAT.
