This is pretty much what I have to choose from, if there is a class that you guys are probably thinking of (like molecular bio), I have already taken it so this is whats left. I want to take a good science class that isn't BIO but will look good. Any ideas guys? It will be my last semester

I might be going out on a limb here, but I don't think Entomology will come into play much in DS.

I'd take 366 Vertebrate Biology or 334 Physiology of Exercise unless you already took human physio. good luck

I wont make a second thread but I have same question

I HAVE to take General Psychology and methods in biotechnology.

I am going to add Ecology. But 2 classes that I cant decide between are

Analytical Chemistry and Virology.

These are both upper level sciences and do not need to take them to gradute (only methods to grad). But I want to continue my academics so Im gonna take another full load of sciences. They are both offered at the same time next semester so I have to choose between the two. I have had 3 years of research in molecular biology and Virology so I thought I would take a class on it, but I thought I could show I can do upper level chemistry to try to supplement my low chemistry GPA (even though it wont add onto my BCP..i dont think...)

The analytical chem class would also give me a Chem minor for a total of 3 minors instead of 2 without the anal chem

Nonesense. Take whatever you are most interested in.

ditto.

tho i may take head & neck anatomy that last semester to familiarize myself w/the material...but it's an Intense class here...so i may just coast a bit to relax before the D-school hurricane...

vertebrate bio, physio of excercise, endocrinology, and biology of algae.

...especially biology of algae.

Based on my interests, I would take Phys of Exercise and the rest in the order below

334 Physiology of Exercise
445 Endocrinology I
452 Advanced Topics In Genetics
366 Vertebrate Biology
385 Introductory Entomology
386 Introductory Entomology Laboratory
360 Marine Biology
469 Tropical Marine Invertebrates
475 Coral Reef Ecology
397 Colloquium in Biological Sciences

what sounds the most interesting to you? if you have your prerequisites done for dental school, take something that excites you. you won't ever have another chance after college to take some of these classes that aren't exactly related to things you'll need to know for dental school so take advantage of the cool classes offered!

thansk a lot everyone for the responses!

I want to make the last semester at least look decent, what are some good NON-science classes you guys would recommend

It looks like so far the people saying "take whatever you want" are all pre-dents and the dental students are saying something completely different. I'd listen to the dental students.
Don't take junk classes just b/c "you're interested". If you're interested in something, read a book in you're spare time. Once you're in d-school, every night you'll lay in bed and think, "why didn't I take (class name goes here)? I could've spent the last three hours sleeping instead of studying (class name goes here). That stupid (insert useless 'interesting' class here) didn't help me at all. Now I have to get up in 4 hours to study (class name goes here) just so I can keep up."
