I know some schools look at the best score, some take the composite scores , and some average everything together. Is this published somewhere/in a thread, or do you need to call up each school individually and ask?

I don't know if that's in the MSAR or not - it's been a while since I was in the admissions process. However, there is not as much variability as you might think... looking at the best score is quite rare in the allopathic world. Composite scores of best of each section - no, just doesn't happen. For allopathic schools, most schools figure that the most recent MCAT is reflective of you at the time of your application, and that's all they care about. A few may take the best MCAT score - but unless things have changed radically in the last three years, it's just not common. Make sure the last score you post is your best.

I think there was a thread that talked about this, and this is definitely not on MSAR, except couple here and there. (like Jefferson takes average, for example)
