How man Isomers are there of C2H4Br2?

I got 2:

11 H H
Br-C-C-Br
11 H H

11 Br H
Br-C-C-H
11 H H

Some websites say 2, others say 3. Anyone?

In the first one, if you take the 2 side Br's and put them on top of the 2 C's, isn't that the same exact thing isomer because they can switch places..

go to the library and study, and stop cluttering the board with these mundane questions, that you should already know from your o-chem.

Blackstars, go to the library and study some manners, and stop cluttering the board with these ridiculous responses.

i believe the ans. is two.
however, i know why people have said there could be 3 isomer.
but then again, there are many types of isomers, like conformation isomer, and stereoisomer etc..

to the mods: i know this is a place where everyone can freely speak their mind. but looking through pre-dent. forum, i see few members (but others, in no doubt, are great folks) w/ consistant negative opinion that i see as a flaw in this community. i'm not saying you should banned them or anything, but should there be at least some limit as to what kind of comments are given?

i know of a forum (which is not academic btw) that does such a thing. i see this forum as more prestigious community, and i think there should be some type of monitoring little bit more. i'm just little concerned about "why are you so stupid, go die" types of comments.
just my 2 cents
😉

twofast2s...are those mr2's you speak of?

Are you a member of mr20c? I am with the same call name. What do you have? Where u located? I just bought an mk1 a month ago, after looking for a year. I don't know how into it you are, but I want to spend all my graduation $$ (if I get any 😉 ) on a 4agze swap, then beef up the internals and go from there. My website is listed in my sig. Check out the pics. What years do you have? I assume you have 2 mr2's. Nice to know at least someone on the board has some taste... 😎

haha.. i'm pretty into it too, i've done 4agze swaps and 3sgte. i've had about 3 mr2s so far, but i could only afford to have 1 mk2 for now. i did the swaps in my garage of course, and it was really nice experience. i'd do it again if i have to, given that i have the time and money.

my screen name is 91hybrid, but i don't visit the site anymore b/c i'm too busy w/ school.

oh and i live in NC
