What year-plan are you following? I'm a freshman trying to to finish my pharmacy school pre-reqs in 2 years but the load of classes is scary. ITT post your year-plan and reasoning.

I managed to get 102 credit hours out of those two years of prepharmacy. 😛 I took not just prereqs but classes I wanted, like extra communication classes, and business classes, and international relations, and languages. 😛 I took 16-19 credits a semester + one summer. Plus a few AP credits and retroactive credit for languages... voila. 🙂

this is my second year and i should have almost 90hrs at the end of it. I've been able to advance this much through different reasons. First of all, I have AP Credits which gave me an extra 15 hrs when entering college. I also took summer school which helped. I would advise getting the classes required for the PCAT out of the way first, so that you can take that right before your sophomore year (like bio 1 and 2 and chem 1,2 and atleast orgo 1)

i finished my pre-reqs in 1.5 years, and i only took 3 sci classes per semester.

^ Where did you apply? Did they just require the core classes (gen/o chem, biology, physics)?

For me, I did a year sequence of general chemistry my 3rd year, then I decided to go pre-pharm, so here I am in my 4th year, and it will take me 1.5 more years to get every class done with (I'm taking a lot of the other classes some schools require like molecular biology, biochemistry, economics, anatomy, etc.)

well i took science classes all through summer. like for example, this past summer, i took BOTH ochem I AND II, which were 5 semester units each. so i was able to finish a year of ochem in just 10 weeks. yeah, call me crazy. :scared:
