why ?? please explain both cases.

Both in CCF and COPD, there is reduced o2 supply to the organs and tissues due to which there would be a possible increased synthesis of erythropoietin and RBC production.

I am not sure how hemoglobin decreases in Cirrhosis and hyperthyroid.? I ll try to find out more on this.

In Sickle cell anemia, when there is a low concentration of o2, the HbS type polymerizes and is less soluble and less elastic causing obstruction of flow of RBC.
