but no acceptance. am i the only one?

i sent them updates, letters of interest, additional recs, and i have heard nothing from them.

im beginning to think my "high priority status" was a load of crap. anyone else?

we know eachother from the waitlist thread! I am on the high priority and have done everything you have done as well!! Makes me think i'm not really "high priority" material. What else can we do?!? I wonder if poeple who were on the regular waitlist have gotten in....now that would be a question i'd like answered!

i think at least one person who was on the regular waitlist got in (says so on the other thread).

have you called and tried to get any information from them?

anyone else out there?

Count me in as one of the unfortunate few. I kinda feel like the kid who was always picked last for kickball. Anyways, I've been wondering how they decide who gets off the waitlist if it is, as they claim, unranked. Is there a method to the madness???? I like to think they use the eenie meenie minie moe technique and the fact that we are still waiting has no bearing on our suitability as potential Jeffersonians.

Anyways, anyone have news for us waitlisters? Is there anybody out there who recently withdrew or recieved the call from Dr. Callahan?

I am considering to apply to some "LESS" competive schools next years only, since I don't see a good chance for getting into others. I have a BS in biology from an school outside of USA graduated in 96, am a computer science student now.
Do I have a chance?
What was your GPA/MCAT?
Thanks

yo, this is the jefferson WAITLIST thread. we are obviously not qualified to tell you if you are going to get in or not. we ourselves have not gotten in.

duh.

Why would you post that on this thread? Clearly the people on this waitlist aren't happy about being on it and are not in the mood to freely give out advice concerning your candidacy. Please go start a "what are my chances" thread and leave the jefferson waiting to the unfortunate few who continue to find themselves in this god forsaken purgatory.

.......nothing on my end either. This is starting to get depressing.

anyone hear anything??? This is getting ridiculous! I've almost lost hope.

...thought i'd bring the thread back up in hopes of getting some news about the waitlist for this week. anyone feel like sharing?

good to hear from you again....was beginning to think i was the only one left! Everyone who is still waiting should make a pact though. If you hear anything from jefferson - post it. Deal?

Hey guys,
i have been religiously checking this thread, hoping that there would be movement and part of me hoping that there isn't unless it would be me. I know i'm cruel... Just wanted to let you two know that you aren't the only ones out there still checking this website 😱

Hey everyone,
I withdrew from Jefferson last week. I just got my letter in the mail from them, comfirming that I withdrew. I was taken off of the regular waitlist, but I know for a fact that two days after I got accpeted, someone on high priority waitlist was accpeted. Don't give up hope. I was really interested in going to Jefferson, and I made sure the admissions comittee knew that. Just keep calling and emailing both Dr. Callahan and Dr. Hershmann. I hope one of you get my spot bc I know ho much you want it. Good Luck!!!

Last year, someone got "the call" from Dr. Callahan on the 4th day of school. The high priority waitlist is no joke. It means you're basically next in line.

I just withdrew from Jefferson two days ago, so I really hope that helps you guys out! Good luck!! :luck:

Hey all,
This may be bittersweet news for some of you (as I know it was for me) , but I know how much it helps to hear something, so here goes... I heard the good news from Dr. Callahan about a week or so ago. I'm travelling Europe right now and heard via email. I was so excited when I read the email that I did an extended series of fist pumps in the air at the internet cafe and got many a strange look. I will keep my fingers crossed for all of you. As the previous posts mention, there are still withdrawals. Keep your interest alive. Let them know how badly you want in. Keep your faith. Thats what I did. Good luck !!!
