I'm currently a Junior in high school with a 3.475 GPA and got a 22 on my ACT with my first try without studying so I know I can get at least a 24 next time with studying. I'm considering Pharmacy for my future! Next year at my high school I'm taking a Pharm Tech class where I will be able to be a Tech after I graduate. Now I'm wondering if I can handle the world load that comes with taking the classes to be a Pharmacist. In AP classes I get Bs and academic I get mainly 90s. Therefore I'm a bit above average student at the top 33 percent of my class. (225 out of 667) I would LOVE the input, thanks!

Also I plan to go to University of Houston and they have a Pharmacy school.
So if anyone goes there I would love your input.

Hey! Don't stress too much about it 🙂 You are still in high school! I think you are really set for wanting to become a pharmacist knowing that you are still in high school. Becoming a pharmacy technician will only help you to face the real world in a different aspect! It's not too over bearing but you can also handle it.

Know that college is different from high school. In high school, you have to take 6-7 classes consecutively, forcing you to study all the subject areas. College, you can take fewer classes and focus more, which you have the chance to get better grades in.

It is also a way to find out if you love the subject you want to pursue. Since your college has a pharmacy school, find a way to get in contact with the pharmacy counselor to guide you to right direction, and also keep the networking going!

More power to you 👍
