High School Shadowing Hours

I have approximately 120 observation hours from high school, they are unverified. Should I still plan to use these hours when applying to PT school this summer?

Is experience, experience? Or does it not count because it isn't verified?

PTCAS has a form that you can send to the supervising PT, and they can fill it out and give you credit.

I did not use high school hours because I was advised not to. When filling out applications it is generally a rule of thumb to not use anything earlier than your college career. If you put them on there I would make sure that you also have hours that are more current to show that you have done some recent work too. Good luck with your applications!
