I am looking at high throughput COVID PCR testing for my lab. Volume 75-200 test per day.
Anyone have a recommendation on which system to purchase?
My considerations
- It would be especially nice if the manufacture is beyond rationing supplies
- HPV testing also
- Cost per test
- ease of use
- refurbished equipment on the market ( optional )

Thanks

recommend Roche - great company, great instruments with good / knowledgeable support. will also meet your HPV need.

Roche Cobas 300k for a new machine I estimate. I can find a used 6800 for 180K.
There are use Cobas 4800 around that will do HPV but I has no COVID testing. Perhap it does insitu for HPV and not PCR

That Panther units are nice beasts. I imagine that they are just as costly.

You want to make sure you get a platform that has an HPV test that has been approved for primary cervical cancer screening. Roche does. If HPV screening becomes first line screen you want to make sure you have the right platform.
