Hey,

I was just wondering if people could post when they sent in their Application and what their AADSAS # is. That way we can see how many people have applied during this cycle.

BTW, I applied July 5 and I'm not sure if it's too early to call AADSAS to get my number. Any advice?

I just got off the phone with the AADSAS people. They gave me some very interesting information.
-AADSAS DOES NOT verify your transcript information. They simply send it out to other schools.
-The most recent number is in the low thousands
-AADSAS sends out one mailing per week
-Each mailing has 150-185 applications
-The amount of applications coming increase dramatically during October/November
-Once your AADSAS number is >2,000, it will take a long time to get have you application mailed out.

If I gave you my number it wouldn't help you very much, but it's almost definitely too early to call to get your number if you submitted two days ago. Usually they say to expect 4 weeks for processing. You might want to try calling in a couple of weeks.

I just talked to AADSAS yesterday, I submitted my application June 14th and it is just now being processed, my number is 13xx so that might give you an idea.

Hey,
I am having a REALLY hard time getting through to AADSAS. I kept calling all day today and yesterday and just got a busy signal which I thought was weird because when I called them a couple weeks ago after I submitted my applciation I got some message and then waited on the line. Does anyone have a different number besides the 800 number or do I just need to keep calling?

Keep trying. I spent almost an hour before I finally got through. Once you get to the message/waiting part.......hang on you'll get someone eventually

**Seems really odd, but my AADSAS# has been lower than a few people on SDN who submitted the day prior to me (June 2nd). I have called AADSAS twice to confirm my number because of this. Maybe it is because I submitted my transcripts back in May? 😕

Hmm, that's kinda strange - they went ahead and processed mine without transcripts, so maybe your number was just a fluke? Whatever the case, the lower the better, right? 🙂

I suppose it could also have to do with paying by credit card vs. another option... I also started the app on May 18th, but just didnt submit until about 2AM on June 3rd.

I just can't believe that I am seeing people who submitted on June 2nd with AADSAS numbers as high as the 500's!

I wouldn't worry about that, under 1000 is very good. I think last year there were 8000+ applicants, so you're still early.

Did you read my previous post? 1426 out of 8000+ is still early. You have nothing to worry about!

I called AADSAS this morning

**tip for calling**

you will get busy signal or message, but keep pressing "redial" then you will get through. I redialed around 5 times and got through.

The lady was very pleasant to talk to. My number is 20005-00736

she told me my applications were sent out to schools last Friday.

I am just excited that # is not higher than 1000... =)

My number is 1067, and I sent my app in June 15th. I spoke with the lady at the AADSAS about 2 weeks ago and she said my app would go out the next week, so it should have been sent last week. I tried calling them today and apparently they are training employees today and aren't recieving calls.
