Do most med schools look at your highest score or your average score? Does anyone know any examples of schools that take the average? Thanks.

I think most look at your most RECENT score.

I know a lot of schools that just take your highest score. But they look at your other scores to see how you have improved.

All of the schools I'm interested in look at the best set of scores in each section, thus arriving at your best overall score. Some look at the most recent, while some look at all scores.

Atlas,

I'm curious which schools those are?

I am also quite interested to know if anyone has any idea where I can find a list of schools and an explanation as to how they evaluate multiple MCAT scores????????? I personally prefer the highest MCAT method myself 🙂
Atlas, I too am interested as to which schools you look at the best overall school?? Any insight you may have into this matter is greatly appreciated! Thanks

This sort of information is not generally available. All schools advise limiting the number of times you take the test after the first to a minimum, however.
