Highest Volume of Interview Invitations - When?

I already have some interviews and I understand from reading threads here that it is very early to be getting invites. So when exactly is the prime time for most programs to send out invites - now? mid October? late October? after Nov. 1? It has been painfully slow the past two weeks. Does anyone know when it'll pick up again?

I hope I'm not the only one experiencing this!

I have had quite a slow down these last 2 weeks as well.

Quite a few programs wait until after Nov 1 to invite for interviews or to even review your application. As far as I can tell, these include tufts, columbia, cornell, nyu, pennsylvania hospital. (these are the only ones that i know). BU hasn't even downloaded my app yet at all.

I am thinking that after the dean's letter goes out on Nov 1, I will have a rush of interviews and some rejections (hopefully not too many...)
