Look at the average stats of the schools you are looking at applying to. I went a little application happy and looking back I wish I had done more research on the schools because I applied to some schools that realistically I did not have very good odds of getting into. It costs a lot of money to apply and so make sure you spend that money wisely 🙂

I agree, do your research regarding the schools you plan on applying to. Each one is unique in its own right and looks for different things in an applicant. Evaluate yourself and know your strengths so that you can find a school that will best suit you and your needs for the next 2.5 years. It's extremely competitive nowadays, but if you plan correctly it's likely there will be at least one school out there that will accept you, so you just gotta be familiar with them.
In general, though, I think it's important to apply early, actively communicate with each school's admissions coordinator, volunteer in as many settings as you can, and budget yourself (applications are expensive!)

I wish I had read the directions more for sending in transcripts because some schools have weird rules for that. I also wish I explored the OTCAS website more so I would know the deadlines for submitting everything and for Academic Update. Make sure you know everything about academic update because it took me awhile to figure out.
I wish I had taken into account the holidays when I was deciding to apply because OTCAS took WAAAY longer than a month to process my application because they are closed for the holiday break.
There are probably more things I forgot. Even though I got into schools, I made a lot of mistakes.
