Lately I have been hearing a lot of my friends talking about hints that interviewers give during or after interviews. I literally cannot figure out how to tell whether an interview went well or not. Have you received hints from your interviewer? There are some schools who simply say to consider them when choosing between schools. Does that even mean anything? What does it mean when interviewers say good luck at end. It almost sounds negative lmao. Share some hints you have gotten and for those that applied last cycle, what did those hints result in?

LOL MWU-AZ the dean and clinical dean always told us to choose them because they picked us for first interview and then focus on selling the school (also saying we all will be accepted) idk how much truth their words hold

and I also find "good luck" at the end of interviews to be somewhat discouraging. LOL like you are screwed next please.

currently in a cycle so idk yet.

"consider us" seems like a generic, professional closing statement, as does "good luck". "hope to see you next year" is probably also fairly generic.
One of my interviewers told me not to worry and that he'd definitely write some good things about me so I'm hoping that one's not generic lol. I'll let you know in December if you remind me

When was your interview?

My Pittsburgh interview was exactly like this... I felt very happy leaving the interview fully satisfied with all the questions and concerns I had. Not sure how to interpret it.... the other people there said they were getting grilled.

I had the same experience

I had strange interviews because all of them revolved around my hobbies and not anything regarding school or organizations. I feel like a "good luck" and a handshake is always a good sign.
