Histology on the DAT?

so if you haven't had a&p how in the world would you learn histology along with all of the other bio material that we have to know?

Depending on your General Biology cirriculum, you may not need A & P. This "histology" thing is being blown way out of proportion.

well that's good to know....even though my general bio seems lacking. I've just started a&p and wouldn't have had a clue about some of the slides i'm learning....
 
Is it very very basic stuff like telling the difference between columnar and cuboidal, or a little more deeper than that like recognizing where the slide came from (i.e. what kind of tissue you are looking at)?
 
Aren't the four types of tissues Epithelial, Connective, Nervous, and Muscle? Any review books have good diagrams to review this? I will probably just google it for pictures.
