One of the funniest things I've seen in a long time:

That is popular clip to spoof. The movie that clip is taken from is called "Downfall" or "Untergang", which is one of the greatest movies I've ever seen. Absolutely brilliant. Hitler is typically displayed as a one dimensional cartoonish character who rants and raves like the one in this clip, but the movie also portrays his forceful cult of personality. The movie covers the last few weeks in Berlin in the bunker as the USA and Russians move closer and closer, and what all his followers do once he is dead. I highly recommend this movie, even if you don't speak German.

Yeah, it is a funny clip. It has been spoofed by many college football teams to portray Hitler as pissed off that they have played poorly. Always good for a laugh.

it is "funny" unless you speak german. Recommend visiting a concentration camp, that'll put things into perspective.

C'mon now, we don't have to take ourselves so seriously...having a healthy abhorrence of Nazi wartime atrocities and finding this clip funny aren't mutually exclusive.

PS, I've been to Dachau, although my German isn't good enough to translate this clip any more.

Oh my ****in' G*d! Pull the stick out of your butt, get a sense of humor, and realize we are not finding this funny because we are warped followers of ****ler. We know millions died because of him, but we can still laugh at a clip showing him as an MJ fan and enabler.

PC is what has made this country (not so) great.

Just out of curiosity what was he really talking about?
It is toward the end of the war. The Russians are entering the small cities surrounding Berlin. His generals hadn't been telling him the truth about how bad his situation was until he heard the short range artillary landing nearby. He tries to calm them by stating that general Steiner will deliver a crushing blow to the enemy, but then the generals tell him that Steiner and all the other armies are being decimated. Now having found out that his top men had been hiding the truth of the state of war to him he begins yelling about about cowards and traitors. The entire army is without honor. He should have done what Stalin did, just kill all the top generals. All the traitors are going to pay, they will pay with their own blood, they will get drunk on their own blood. When he gets quiet at the end he says that since his orders aren't being followed, it is impossible for him to be the "Fuhrer" anymore. It's over, the war is lost. Just go and do what you want to do. It actually doesn't end there...he and his army get some more hope and fight to the bitter end.

Watch the movie. As one of the mightiest empires crumbles, all the architects deal with it in various ways (suicide, shooting those they think are traitors, partying with prostitutes, going on suicide missions against the enemy, crying...). Hitler held such devotion and loyalty from the Germans, that most of them couldn't believe that the Reich was coming to an end. The Russians were brutal, demolishing nearly everything in East Germany, burning churches, records (sad for geneologists), their food and water, total desolation as payback for what the Germans had done to Russia.

One of the characters in the movie, Hitler's personal secretary, was wtih him in the bunker till the end, and only died a few years ago. They show a short interview with the actual lady, then portray a lot of the movie through her point of view. Her words are very sobering.

Oh, and the scene with the children is horrifying.

This movie is so good, because while this is a huge tragedy and I feel sympathy for them, I also want them to die. Some of those men in his inner circle were absolute monsters.
