I read in scretes 3rd edition that HIV screening in preg. according to ACGO ''opt-out'' is recommended rather than ''opt-in'', could anyone polease explain that?

In Clamydia screening, CDC says for all preg. females, while ACOG says only thoes at high risk! Which one should we use in the exam?

Thanks

Going thru FA CK, I had the same issue where usmleworld and FA were using two different approaches. I am going with what world states which is 'everyone below 24 or women with high risk factors: previous STDs and/or multiple sex. partners'. Hope this helps!
