Hey all.

One of my supplementals asks this:

REQUIRED: Upload a copy of your resume or curriculum vitae, which will include, but not be limited to the following information:
- Hobbies and nonacademic interests

They listed other things, however I was stuck on this one. I want to add my hobbies and interests (web design, photography, type of music, playing spots, etc)... but I feel like it looks weird on a Resume/CV? Wouldn't they look at it and think, no one would ever say they like Blues music on a resume, even though they told us to list it? Isn't that a bit unprofessional to have on a Resume? What do you thinks think.

do you think its ok to put 'volunteering at hospitals and soup kitchens' as hobbies/interests?

well... I did put my hospital volunteers in my volunter experiences section but I really like volunteering around places like soup kitchens so i kinda wanted to put it as my hobby... lol, i dunno..

hobbies and interests mean they want to know what you are interested in. Volunteering is not a hobby
